![]() No 'Privileges' in PHPMyAdmin, already tried deleting cookies/using FF/loggin in as root 0. I have WAMP installed on Windows, and I can’t seem to get the privileges tab to show in PhpMyAdmin no matter what. But in any phpMyAdmin of my clients, it is still showing No Privileges so no one can create database right now. So now you should be able to create database by username newuser Just in case if you need to log into mysql from terminal then do mysql -u newuser -pĭuring this proces I am assuming that you will run all these command as root. User you are connecting to phpmyadmin has no privileges set for it to be able to create database. root username has full privileges Any username on localhost has privileges except administrator rights. I can login using the user-name and password used during installation, but trying to cretae database I see No Privileges. You can do so by mysql>GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON *.* TO *.*means that we are granting the permission for every table of every database which also meanwe can create if we need. No, just tested again, with PHPMyAdmin when you create a new database it automatically allocates all users on system that have global rights/all privileges. Now you have creates a new user and it's time to make that user capable of doing stuffs. You can set that to the username of your accountwhuch make it easier to work with.and yes localhost is the server you are using and password is the password you want to set for mysql login. Depending on your phpMyAdmin version, the 'Privileges' tab has been renamed to 'User accounts'. you can do that by mysql>CREATE USER IDENTIFIED BY 'password' To get started you can create a new user for your mysql. ![]() I'm using Remote Desktop Connection through my Windows 10 Desktop, to connect the Raspberry Pi 3. first make sue you have started mysql by typeing $service mysql start When I login to PHPMyAdmin and type in Password, Main Screen of PHPMyAdmin, No 'User Tab' and when I Press 'Database Tab' Create Database 'No Privileges'. TO be able to create database you have to login to phpmyadmin as root or with the account that have required permission.
